If u can take d calculated risk ( AIG Delisted from NYSE!?? i think it is quite unlikely , US Gov learned their lesson well from lehman bros, d chances 4 AIG to be delisted is less than 10% )
Presuming if u got it @ USD 0.60 d other day ,
0.60 x 3.6= RM2,200 +- per lot...
Put 5 lots on it = RM2,200 x 5 = RM11K.
keep it in yr safe for 3 to 5 years, I can guarantee u, as long as she STILL EXIST in NYSE , 4 her to bounce back to USD 15.00 in next 5 years is only matter of time !
Hence, USD 15 x 3.6= 54K , 54 K x 5 lots = 270K Mama meyaaaaH...11K capital to 270K return ! worth ?
Let talk about yr risk.. if 11K risk is too much 4 u , then put 5K lorrr... 5K to 135 K in 5 years no big deal ? 5K still consider too much 4 u ? then 2 k lorrr..2K to 60K ^V^... can u afford ?
Bear in mind , u must be prepared to lose out yr entire fund that invested in AIG in case of any unforseen outcome , calculate yr risk b4 u jump in !

AIG fot severe whacking from US politicians last few days aver the bonus payments to employees and yet the stock jump up so much. I guess it is the shorts covering and it is repoorted that the shorties are finding problem borrowing shares to cover. How long the uptrend will continue is anybody guess. Nevertheless AIG and Cit has been on the uptrend for a week now and I guess it is only natural for corrections to take place soon, probablt tonit.
p/s AIG traded close at Nikkei at 161 yen abt US1.65b today

美元，大暴跌發生

嚟緊呢個禮拜出發去旅行嘅朋友，如果仲未唱錢，可能成本會大增咯。
點解咁講？咪美元大暴跌囉。
美國聯儲局宣布將購買 3000億美元嘅長期國債，即係話俾人知印鈔機係時候開動。美元即應聲下跌，無論對比歐羅、日圓、加元、或者近期嘅英磅。
美元，尋晚大跌，今晚暴挫！
維京人呢排都有留意開歐羅兌美元呢個組合。上星期收報 1.2929，weekend 嘅時候已經好神勇咁話先睇 1.33。哈哈！三爬兩撥無謂多講，轉眼已達標，而且升勢有餘未盡，寫呢篇 post 嘅時候已經去到 1.37！
暫時睇下個目標係 1.39，但係由於升勢過急，超買嚴重，小心獲利盤突然湧現。但暫時睇歐羅每次下跌都可以買入，除非歐洲央行學埋美國佬 D 衰嘢玩寛鬆嘅貨幣政策。不過政策嘅嘢好難估，唯有小心設下止賺盤。
美元跌，金價油價卻大升。總之金價跌破 900 美元一安士，大家可以放心買入實金。小弟睇如無意外應會再次衝破 1000 大關。

HSBC (00005) 升勢凌厲，一如小弟預期短線會反彈。個人睇反彈最多最多，都係會去到 60蚊咁上下（其實覺得可能性唔大）。長線仲係對佢有保留，情願買渣打 (02888)。
至於中移動 (00941)，今日公布咗業績，其實唔錯。單係上年第四季度，純利就達到 302 億元人仔，按年增長 11%。不過業績雖好，卻符合預期。市場冇驚喜下收市報 $67.1，跌 1.5%。
關鍵嘅中移動都出埋台，後市點睇？
個市升咗咁多日，點都有獲利盤啩。估計會回一回先。跟住會點要睇埋聽日先。

Just curious on AIG or CITIGroup. You mention that you will be collecting anything below $1. But if not mistaken, any share that fell below $1 will be subjected to delisting. I know AIG & Citi went below $1 before and still listed, therefore i'm not sure how the ruling works. Hope to get your opinion. Thank you.

Green Packet, "cut loss" already. And to be absolutely specific, cannot say that TA dont work. Based on my call, it is - "ccdev's TA dont work". In other words, ccdev give c**k TA recommendation. But what do you expect,I aint exactly known for my stock picking prowess. Besides, what can you derive out of a 1 time result? If I made another call and I was 'lucky', does that mean all of a sudden, TA works? Anyway, I had a nice time with this social experiment 'recommendation', without getting too serious. and i don't think anyone was silly enough to follow my call, at least I hope not.

事情果真如此吗？恐怕只有头脑“简单”的人才会相信这样的“G20”政治行情。没有美国政府两次数百亿美元的注资，何来花旗和美国银行的盈利？这样的“盈利”如何让人心里踏实？更何况这些“盈利”中均未将未来潜在损失估计到位，它们假设经济将会迅速繁荣。这样的“盈利”同样不包括美国政府以拯救AIG为名，而实际上将高达千亿美元的巨额纳税人的资金变相打入各大银行的账户所显现出来银行体系“人造健康色”所产生的“收入”。
美联储刚刚公布将直接动用3000亿美元购买美国长期国债，这是近50年以来的头一回。实情是，各国中央银行纷纷抛售美国长期国债，离岸对冲基金在狂抛两房债券，美联储已成为美国长期债券的最后买主。对于马上面临靠至少两万亿美元国债增发才能挽救银行系统的奥巴马来说，这个时机真是糟透了。
许多人没有意识到美国的长期债券是美国金融体系的生命线，长债被抛弃导致美联储直接介入的后果将是灾难性的通货膨胀和长期萧条。
这就是为什么美国要在G20会议之前要搞出一个“人造牛市”来为奥巴马拉抬气势，在一片牛市大吉的迷幻气氛中，希拉里才可能给头晕眼花的各国代表的口袋里塞进一些美国长期国债。即将召开的G20大会，不过是美国搞的一场美国债券的超级路演而已。
伯南克的话可信度有多少呢？2007年初当次贷问题刚露头时，此公信誓旦旦地保证这仅仅是个小问题。2007年8月次贷危机正式爆发，此公认定这是一场“孤立的”、“短暂的”、“小规模的”危机，结果危机演变成为席卷全球的金融海啸。结果此公仍不认错，断定金融危机不可能影响美国的实体经济，结果我们看到的是二战以来最严重的房屋没收率、失业率、各种违约率、企业破产规模。今天此公又说“美国经济年底走出衰退”，听众还是自己掂量吧。
最近几日，国内和国际的部分经济学家又在联手配合这一“人造牛市”，大唱“赞歌”，面对这一盛景，真不知道是谁的悲哀？

Sam, no problem m'man. i've been away for awhile, but see that you still the same old feisty bugger! i do have to admit my TA 'buy' call in the earlier posting, that much is true.
Still, to be fair to the TA guys, my 'TA' call shouldn't be used to judge whether it works or not. my TA skills are lousy. it's like me taking karate for 6 months and then telling you i can fight.
anyway, GI aint coming down,creeping slowly up somemore, knn, ccb... but at least TMI got massive rebound today, good for those who are still holding. good luck, gentlemen!

We refer to our announcement dated 26 February 2009 in relation to the Proposals.
On behalf of TMI’s Board of Directors, CIMB Investment Bank Berhad (“CIMB”) wishes to announce that the issue price of the Rights Shares has been fixed at RM1.12 per Rights Share with an entitlement basis of 5 Rights Shares for every 4 existing TMI Shares held by the shareholders of TMI at a date to be determined and announced later. Accordingly, the Proposed Rights Issue will raise gross proceeds of approximately RM5,254.8 million and involve the issuance of approximately 4,691.8 million Rights Shares.
The issue price of RM1.12 per Rights Share represents a discount of 50.9% to the 5-day volume-weighted average market price up to 23 March 2009 of RM2.28 (“5-day VWAMP”) and 31.7% to the theoretical ex-rights price of TMI Shares of RM1.64 (based on the 5-day VWAMP).
This announcement is dated 24 March 2009.

5-for-4 Rights Issue at RM1.12 per share. hence, tmi's Rights Issue share has been price in @ discount of 37.2% , Theoretical Ex-rights price shld be ard RM1.78 .
TMI's share price has rallied up from RM2.10+-. D share price is due 4 correction anytime soon. 4 those who interested on its right issue, buy when it dip below 2.30. at this moment , u r advice 2 Sell on strength @ current level..
