Y should we listen to them ? they even called to buy Tenaga @ 11.00 last August 07 , their initial target was 13.50 ! woww..all d sudden d TP 4 Tenaga has been revised dowards from sky high buy of 13.00 to hell low of 6.00? come on ..be sense abit ! To be honest , there is a big question mark 4 Tenaga to drop < 6.00, not to say impossible but not that easy also ! old saying, if not bcos of bearish outlook of d regional mkt n DOW, i would hv enter Tenaga @ anything below 7.00 already !!! Use sense to analyse yrself, earning of 07 stood 94cts , even u chop 30% off from 94cts , u still hv 60cts eps in hand which will translate to PE around 10+ @ 6.00+- ! N also, if not bcos of d rising crude oil n tariff delayed, no way u can catch Tenaga at current price ? no way !
Always remember this >> Average PE 4 bluechips r around 20+- , Buying 2nd liner @ PE < 10 is still considered "Cheap" , what about buying bluechip below PE 10 ??? dont u think is dirt dirt cheap ?? if i chop 30% from its EPS of 94cts which equal to EPS 60cts , i use PE 15 for its fair value, 15 x 0.60 =9.00 fair value ! too optimistic ? ok..chop another 10% , which equal to RM8.00 ... tak cukup ka ? Bear in mind, we r not targetting RM10.00 or RM12.00 4 tenaga, we r targetting Tenaga somewhere around RM8.50+- ! dont u think it is achieveable once mkt recover ? I wish more bad news coming on its way so that ppl will trigger their panic selling bottom 4 us to buy at much cheaper price.

The news about renegotiation of price between TENAGA and IPP (ytlpowr, Tanjong..)...i'm quite concern with this. In short term, will you see ytlpowr going dip? Tanjong already hit Rm15+ from Rm16.
Ytlpowr management has always been practicing shares buy back, that may help to support the price. But will it last?
really need your opinion in this Uncle Sam. Will you see a short term dip on the mother share? I have bought some ytlpowr mother shares many years back (since 2004). It reaches Rm2.8 i never sold. Now is Rm2.1+ :( I'm considering swapping a portion of it into ytlp-wr.

Oil seen hitting $150 this summer: Goldman analyst...
KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) - Oil prices are likely to hit $150 a barrel this summer season, the global head of commodities research at Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS - News) said on Monday, as tighter supplies outweigh weakening demand.
"I would suggest that the likelihood of that happening sooner has increased tremendously ... sometime in summer," Jeffrey Currie told an oil and gas conference in the Malaysian capital, referring to oil at $150 a barrel.
Goldman Sachs, the most active investment bank in energy markets and one of the first to point to triple-digit oil more than two years ago -- a once unthinkable level -- said last month oil could shoot up to $200 within the next two years as part of a "super spike."
Forecasts that oil could head towards $150 and above have multiplied over the past month as prices broke through several records, the latest being last Friday, when oil soared more than $11 a barrel on Friday, its biggest one-day gain ever.
Oil hit an all-time high of $139.12 on Friday on the back of a weak U.S. dollar and mounting tensions between Israel and Iran.
Goldman Sachs forecast almost a month ago that U.S. crude would average $141 a barrel in the second half of 2008, up from a previous projection of $107, due to tight supplies.
"Demand for oil is weak but supplies are even weaker," Jeffrey Currie told the conference, citing supply disruptions in Nigeria and struggling output rise in Russia.
Investment bank Morgan Stanley, another big Wall Street energy player, said on Friday that crude may reach $150 by July 4 due to robust Asian demand and falling inventories.

Uncle Sam, make money in this bear market? Must respect some more now. This is skill. I've been reading lately about you commenting about unker S. Although I don't know who that is but I think people like that you no need waste time la. Your record is your prove and people asking you to add them to your list are in the thousands. This is a testament to your skill.
Before reading your blog I thought that TA and FA should go hand in hand, 50:50. After learning alot from you, I doubt TA as a wanting of modern traders to make good on the Dow theory when it simply isn't there. Looking for silly patterns like head and shoulders la, double bottom la, abandoned baby la, makcik nasi lemak la hahaha...you name it, they've got it. When they see a possible pattern then they say look and watch. When the pattern happen by coincidence then they celebrate and say TA is great. When it doesn't happen then they just say it didn't materialize and keep quiet only. Why not say TA was wrong?! From my experience, every time you watch for a pattern, it most likely won't materialize. So my conclusion, TA = coincidence = wishful thinking. I won't waste my time looking for Makcik selling Nasi Lemak pattern in the charts.

As u said, in tis bear market, Bluechips will also come down to< PE 10. Besides TENAGA, i notice tat within a year, These bluechips hv dropped tremendously; Genting fr 8.75 to 5.65 PE 10.5 (-35%). Commerce fr 12.50 to 9.00 PE 10.7 (-28%). Maybank fr 13.20 to 7.35 PE 8.90 (-44%). He he, $ifu, hope my info r correct. Ever since reading ur blog, i also start "ikut" ur style 2 invest liao - do homework first b4 investing. So besides TENAGA, any of d bluechips above is within ur consideration ar? Even if AirAsia PE is low but i dont think it will fly at current situation given the oil price is on record high all the time. Perhaps it will fly when oil price come down.
