中新网6月26日电 据马来西亚《中国报》报道，马来西亚一名青年赌世界杯球赛，欠下逾万令吉赌债，一时想不开，在客厅喝下漂白剂，幸被父母及时发现，送院救治。
据悉，这名22岁未婚华裔青年，24日凌晨约3时返家后，到厨房拿漂白剂饮下，毒性发作就倒在客厅处，痛苦呻吟，引起父母注意。
青年在古晋中央医院留医时，声声向父母亲忏悔，指本身一时胡涂，才应友人之邀赌球，并保证今后不会再赌球
