I'm not a constant follower of either fusioninvestor or samgang. Once in a while I'll pop up and just have a quick read over each others recommendation.
But the other day when i was at whereiszemoola, there was a link to the $4 million proposal. Curiously, i read it and found the whole thing quite ammusing.
After reading the extremely long post (including his update on 12January 2009), I can only conclude that Sengs jealousy and envy is really driving him crazy. I can only imagine some childish person to have put so much effort into writting such a dumb proposal.
And his other supporters are even dumber. Especially those who are able to provide "audit services" + "personal money of RM2 million" + "RM 20 million from friend and family".
And for the statement on
g. What about sex? Do you think he pays for that or do you think he has a girlfriend or a wife? Add that to the expenditure.
What a low blow. Could you get even lower then that? Seng, please have some pride. Are you in a mid life crisis or something?
But enough of trying to justify of conclude the actions of a jealous man, but Sam, I really do feel sorry for you that you have to put up with some crazy old dude breathing down your neck. Nevertheless, keep up the good work over your investment track record. Cheers!

I understand where Seng is coming from but really dont need even more people to get involved and add fuel to the fire (and dont tell me this is just an intellectual discussion).So many good reasons why a person would not take the offer - one reason being why u need the extra hassle when you dont need the money, have to be responsible for other people's money and return,having to answer to other people bullshit queries etc .
Hopefully, both parties will come to their senses soon.

For Seng,
I'm not surprise by Sam's replies to you. Even if he earns like 1500%in 10yrs or earns more than the great Warren Buffet himself is least of your concern. Whether Sam did it or not, its his own pride.
Assuming he is a LIAR, what does he gains by lying. Assuming he really has ways to beat the stock market utilzing his theories, GOOD for him and the rest who wish to learn from him, no harm I see.
For you to go ALL length to even PAY him to bring you proof only reflects that you ENVy his 'SUCCESS'. Whether his 'SUCCESS' is to be true or not, is up to his followers.
If you can show all the trade details like him and some personal info and can even attract 1 mil followers worldwide, who would say you 'CAN't Do it 2'.
Most importantly, you do your part and he does his. This is his BLOG, so it's up to him to speak his opinion. The WINNER itself will know in his heart whether he is the true 'Great investor'by the chunks of money earned.
No disrespect to you as you are entitle to your own opinion but do not persist in accusing Sam. Alright?

Great job if indeed you had done it. But success without someone you love and supportive is worth nothing and is a just self-fulfilling prophecy. I think you know what I mean. Just my 2cents.

Jealousy can really turn some people upside down. Why is there so much jealosy. Like TINGLEK always like to say "YAN YAN". Dont say bad things onto others when they are successful. One day you will be 'successful' too. So far, SAM is the only one dare to share his success openly and that with my experience with him since 2003. I dare guarantee that 'FAILURE IN INVESTMENT' is the word you guys will obsolete from your LIFE.
Maybe you guys should just get together and smoke some "Bob Marley" stuff, like chill....,
Sam, we understand where you stand about Seng, you know where i stand also (ie you know I am a "loyal" follower only because i make money). You may not like me for saying this but maybe there is no need to "pour water" on a person continously and on a regular basis anymore once you have already made your message clear. Consider this - In the big scheme of things, who is to say Seng didnt "help" so many of your followers ? We all have paid tuition fees b4 in KLSE, who hasn't? Maybe the people who lost money listening to tips etc should thank Seng instead. It could be the most important investing lesson of their life. I bet those who lost on Parkson, OSK, green packet will know better now ie that they are ultimately responsible for their own decisions. Better to learn this lesson now than 10 years later, where they will pay a much bigger price. And Sam,my trading record will never be better than yours but the worry that i have is bcos you have such a good record, that your followers will get so drunk on the success and will sailang when you say buy this or that, and only takes 1 mistake and they are screwed. May not happen now, maybe 10, 20 years from now after your followers are convinced that you really are a "Stock God", then 1 mistake and kaboom!
Already someone said that with you "guarantee that 'FAILURE IN INVESTMENT' is the word you guys will obsolete from your LIFE.". See, you already are a "God" to some people. I think only guarantee in life is death and taxes.
You say you are helping some people make money in the market, to teach them. They should follow your method because it is a good technique, not because they hate the people using other methods. You want people to be aware of the risk and if you hate TA, so be it but you dont have to hate the practioner of TA or whatever.
I dont know whether i have grown older or what, but i am more tolerant now to certain things that i used to not like (and i'm trying to be less of an asshole to my friends and family). I have enjoyed reading and learning from your blog and hope that you can continue your lessons with a "gentler" attitude.
Like I said, we know where you stand and your trading record speaks for itself.
With all the violence and aggresion going on in the world, maybe it's time to chill, all of you guys just chill.....

So now u are preparing your guns at US stocks again. When u say u r eyeing citigroup at US4.00+ what exactly is your range? Now oledi 4.53. BTW Citi has brought forward the release date of the 4Q earnings release to tomorrow nit. I believe the reason is because they wanna get over the bad results as soon as possible as many analysts are expecting them to report a quarterly loss of US10 Billion. If the loss is less than that I suppose the stock will start a small rally to take advantage of an expected Obama rally after his inaugeration.
