Just to get your opinion on IOI. Currently it's PE<10. Fundamentally (as of 30/6) also their Fixed assets + Long Term Investments + Stocks + Cash is more than their debts/liabilities at a ratio of 1.6 to 1.
I believe their next EPS would be lesser viewing the current CPO prices, but do you think it's a good investment? of course we have to account for the current market volatility too.

Now we r not only facing financial crisis but also confidence crisis , if u think ioi is cheap now, u may get cheaper later on.. then how ?
everybody know that mr bull will not be back in short n mid term ( at least 1 to 2 years ) , hence those who ask such question r aiming 4 short term gain on rebound , bukan ? if u r one of these fellows , well..u r actually playing big n small with late unle lim ^V^
If u hv zero holding in stocks, if u abit kiasu of couldnt catch d bottom n u would like to buy some 4 long term investment.. u can buy in some (1/5) @ current price , but my advice to u, any rebound if time 4 u to take profit , swing method is d most ideal way 4 this type of bearish mkt, bear in mind, even u wanna to play swing oso, u must choose to solid bluechip counters 4 margin of safety in case mkt goes against u.

Dear stock blogs readers,I have been following various share market blogs since early 2007. Let me tell you that I have lost so much money following so-called sure-win tips and insider news from these blogs, that now only I start to realise that there are certain evil people out there (belonging to syndicates) who have been using share market blogs to dupe naive readers like me and many others, who just want to earn some extra pocket money, but ended up losing their pants. I have been buying crap counters recommended by these so-called stock market taikohs aka conman. Now I realise that when they were making buy calls, in actual fact, they were selling(dumping) their shares to us, who were scrambling to buy, hoping that the price will go up fast as recommended. Blog identities such as oracle, tucows and a few others that I can't remember by now are truly despicable people who misled newbies to simply buy stocks. Well I can't really blame anyone but myself for being greedy. However, if there are no conman like oracle or tucows out there, I guess it will be a much better world indeed.
Oh by the way, I am really glad I discovered sam's blog as only his calls enable me to make money on numerous occasions since last year. Unfortunately not enough to cover my losses. So my dear sam, thank you very much. I know why you are rich; that's because you are generous and truthful enough to share genuine tips with your readers and not take them for a ride. Kudos sam.

As i said, shares mkt is not science in short term , eventhough u know it is far below its fair value , but u cant buy in based on this in panic selling mkt , u need to think what those unsound sellers thought also, all these buggers wont care about d price, what they want is chop n cash out either by force selling or by panic, hence , as a wise investor , u need to take this factor into consideration also , that's y i hv asked BB to unload his holding @ KLCI 1,150, buy n hold is not suitable 4 bear mkt esp panic selling mkt.

KLSE is falling down falling down falling down..well xxx has dropped quite alot...but i still think it is gonna come down more due to the uncertainty in global market.for those that have much cash perhaps can enter some now(personal opinion).but it is really hard to tahan seeing some stocks have been dropping way below under their par values..genting seems to be the watak utama for today..yan yan yan...mayb will purchase some for swing play..good luck everyone..

Market is back to 800+ and now it's time for me to blog again. Although I dissapeared from this blog for 3 years but I always communicated with Uncle Sam via email.Those of you who are still new to the share market, let me tell you one thing, following uncle sam will definitely not bring you to holland, I joined him since 3 years back and his first recommendation to me was Maemodewa followed by CresbldWa, Masteel and many more and none of them brought me to holland. FA is a proven method of investing, I read most of the research reports from the analyst, somemore a very prominent analyst company/fund manager and guess what, they all are in holland now. Ha ha ha even a 5 years old kid will know that buying low and selling high is the right way of investing but before hand calls are more important, saying thing is always easier than doing, proven track & records speak for themselves. If you follow Uncle Sam you will sleep soundly, if you follow the TA you will donate to the share market, some more you donate without good karma, if you want to donate, donate to the poor/temples/elderly house not to the share market, that is a very stupid way of donation coz no one will thank you and your blood pressure will shoot up. Many thanks Sam for your generousity.

Based on 2006 eps of IOI, PE=10 will give IOI price RM 1.45. Will this bearish market cause IOI to drop so much. Personally, I will buy IOI below RM 2 by using dollar cost averaging. AS uncle Sam said, there is more bad news to come. Let the bad news become our best friend.
IOI drop like durian because they currently got 3 Billion Dollars Worth of Investment in Forex!

Yups I didn't buy IOI!. Patience is the key! Another thing I noted was there was quite a substantial foreign shareholding... so I didn't get it coz alot of US hedge funds is closing shop!...
I notice also that ZZZZZ has some heavy foreign shareholding although it's holding up quite well now I think there's further downward pressure... thinking of unloading some first... what's your thoughts?

I think one thing I admire you is that you are very honest with what you have done, ie trades, and even dare to admit when u make mistakes..(FYI, no stocks in my portfolio except XXXXX @ 0.51 since KLCI @ 1,150 ), and do forehand call rather like seng hamid, cow and iv....
hope you will also share with us when you decide to enter the market :)

Sterling and euro have weakened alot , so I think xxxx mother results will be adversely affected. Maybe mother share price wil come down some more and give us chance to accumulate at below 30 sen???
