Bolt ran a 9.69s in 100m. It is not a direct simple calculation, but lets assume 9.69*2 = 19.38s in 200meters for Usain Bolt.
Remember Bolt also slow down his foot towards the last 20meters in 100meters match. And for 200meters match, the runners normally gets the speed momentum towards the final 80meters... They can get faster towards the end.
So, very likely, this Bolt can clock another world record in 200meters, i would say 19.30s :)

Sam, wat's ur thots on SapuraCrest? PE is in the teens but is expected to come down with earnings growth. Earnings has recovered/improved significantly. In addition, it has several credible and significant shareholder/JV partners. Seadrill which is the second largest shareholder is a one of the largest drillers.
Reckon that even with a slowdown in the economy, oil price is not going to be back below USD50.

It depends on what type of player u r, if u r FA player... my advice is "no" cos its latest earning only giving u 1.74 crs , x 4 = 6.8cts which give u PE of 20+- , let presume its coming earning could be double up , u will only get PE of 10 , no big deal lah..what IF its coming earning does not match its forecast ?
Yes, crude oil will never come back to usd 60 to 70+- anymore, but what they forecasted now is 90 to 100+- by end of d year , so what do u think of sap crest by then ?
Sapcrest is a political link n speculative counter , good for trading play but definitely not for FA play.

2 EB , my trades cost is very much lower cos i hv a special client status in RHB , so far, I think rhb web is not bad , they provided QE report , BS cash flow report on quarterly basic , d one i like d most is d QE break down which i can access it easily.
Come back to brokage , well... if u r contra kaki or day trader, yes , brokage makes lots of different but if u r FA player aiming 4 mid n long term, i dont think it is any big deal ^V^
Know y ? if u can make > 10K or 50 K per contracts, what is so big deal about hundred dollars more in brokage ? bukan ?

e.b, I'm using Maybank online trading (Aseambankers) and OSK188. Both charge brokerage fee of 0.49%, but Maybank's min is RM12 while OSK188's RM28. Maybank's online features are quite complete, with Dow Jones wire news, info about individual stocks, daily graph, history indicator and your portfolio etc. But if you have to call their Share Trading Centre, urghhh... you may find it a bit frustrating as I think the people there aren't very professional. And Maybank OT isn't compatible with Windows Vista (are they living in stone age?)
Maybank beats OSK flat in their layout, colourful and easy to read. OSK's just black and white. I agree with you, it kinda pisses me off that they charge extra for every feature besides the basic ones (and their basic is really quite basic). But as they announced, they're opening the Global Trading System to all online trading members for free soon, so you may wanna keep it if you wanna invest in S'pore, HK & USA.
I signed up with OSK coz it offers the only online open CDS a/c I know. CDS a/c under Maybank, CIMB, Hong Leong and Public Bank online trading are all nominee accounts.
Aquene, I am using Aseambank account as well which is under nominee account. The only trouble I found so far is that I never receive dividend vouchers and annual report on those counters I hold.

BTW, Huaan just reported an excellent QE yesterday , profit increased by 44% Q 2 Q , from 2.9 cts to 3.29cts , at d same time , steel price also coming down from its peak , if we use 3.29 cts x 4 = 13cts which giving u PE of 4+ , once steel price comes down , its earing would be diluted , fyi, huaan will go 4 full capacity by end of 08 or begining of 09 , we can use this to compensate d falling steel price .
This apply to all d steel stocks , they r currently traded @ PE < 8 , once d demand n steel price come down , there is a big question marks on d sustainability of its single digit of PE !?
If yr steel counter is traded @ PE , 5 , u hv margin of safety , if they r traded @ PE 8+ , chances for them to come down further r greater .
Average PE for steel stocks r around 11+- in bull mkt n 6+- for bear mkt.

For me, Lee Chong Wai is naive. He wasn't prepare well for 超級丹。He is not in his best form, but even if he is in his best form, he still can't beat 超級丹, so it's ok lah, i think。

My email add is yihjyh@yahoo.com. By the way, one thing i would like to ask, how u guys are being "taxed" on ur earnings from the KLSE. I suppose u need to pay some sort of tax right? Is it heavy?
Yih Jyh, there's no capital gains tax in Malaysia so if u r investing for medium to longer term which FA investors do, then it should be considered capital gains and there's no tax. Only catch is the frequency of trade which may get IRB to consider ur trading as income in nature and more so if the trades are short term or contra.
BTW, I'm no tax expert, so u may want to get more details from one...
