Sold some more Bjcorp @1.47 left less than 10lots now. Hopefully tomorrow will surge after result being announced tonight. But the odd of adjustmnet is higher because RM1.5 has almost reflected the real value of Bjcorp. Somemore it has surged almost 50% in a month. Anyway, will still keep some of my lucky counter for further rising. I suspect Vincent Tan is going for another round of corporate exercise from his increasing stake in Bjcorp. Most likely corporate action would be right issue since Sam named him as "king of right issue". ^_^

ECM propose change name to ECM Libra Financial Group + 29mil ESOS shares each going to be alloted to Lim Kian Onn and Chairman/CEO at exercise price of RM1.00. So 安啦, ECM will hit RM1 soon, 20% profit almost in pocket already. ^_^
Bjcorp announced second interim dividend of 4% but ex date a little bit farther on 13/2/2008!! Fyi, just got my first interim dividend from bjcorp today. ^_^
As predicted good result being announced by Bjcorp qoq jump 14folds while ytd jump 6times.
But seriously speaking, beside dividend result is not surprising me. Believe correction on this counter will due soon on Monday unless NYSE surge significantly. Base on current peformance 2008 PER should be around 10times (RM1.5/RM0.15)which I think has fairly reflecting her current value unless more sweets to be given away by Vincent Tan. ^_^

Reason being ECM going to change its name to "Financial Group" I believe is to align with its investment bank status. Why need to change name now if going to be RTO by FAX or Tune Money? For those who followed Seng and made losses, seriously speaking I think you shouldn't blame anyone but your own greediness. No body forcing you to follow a person who has no track record. Even a person has track record like Sam, may lose money in certain counters, one thing has to be emphasized we are not saint, human do made mistake.

## regret to say that i unable to give any comment on your question. But commonsense tell me that it got something to do with the emerging of Camel King ( Azman ) in ECM. Who knows after the departure of Pak Lah blue eye boy KJ, both of these jokers may join the ' retirement club ' soon ?

My 1 sen views of IB license final transformation for ECMLAS subjected to adjustments priority to these salient conditions.
1. Tan Sri Azman Hashim to officially declare his share holdings private or thru proxies in the said company ECM Libra Bhd.
2. The said remittance balance of RM42.5 is from the original RM52.5 mil required to transform ECMLAS's approved Merchant Banking (MB) License to an Investment Banking (IB)license to be operated by as ECM Libra Investment Bank. This IB license will enable ECM Libra Investment Bank to undertake public deposits.
The initial RM10 deposit was paid by Avenue Securities Sdn Bhd on 04 Jan 2006 as part payment of a total contribution of RM52.5m to the Government of Malaysia for one discount house licence for transformation as a Universal Broker into an Investment Bank.
3. What exemptions? CEO Kallimullah @ Kalliular & Managing Director Lim Kian Onn had already been designated by the company with an official announcement on 26 April 2007. The appointments are effective from 01 May 2007
All Bank Negara needed is a "sandiwara" replay for public consumption with a forthcoming 2nd announcement maybe due to the controversial "small fish eat big fish" merger of yesteryear.

Seriously speaking, I still dun catch the point to put the 3rd condition into picture for granting IB license. ECM being granted IB no doubt largely due to Camel King, definitely he needs to sit on top of management. But then he can just remove Kaliular and Lim quietly but why need to put this as one of the condition for IB license while at the same time company granted ESOS to both of them. I foresee a very dangerous position here; these two fellow will most likely push up the share price in order for them to make some “retirement fund” before the exemption period lapse. Agree?
If that’s the way, we better be vigilant to sail on wave when they pushing up and wash your hand before they sell down their stake of 29mil each.
Another thing I dun understand, why Camel King need another IB since he the Camel he ride on is already obtain IB?

Permit me to put certain points into more correct perspective.
1. Tan Sri Azman is NOT the joker in the pack for the ECM Libra Investment Bank license transformation.
Where was Mr Camel in 2002 when the ECM Libra francaise was first created? Tan Sri came into the scene only when the ECM Libra & Avenue Security merger went awry.
The deal drew a lot of attention and criticism. In August 2006, Khairy Jamaluddin, the son-in-law of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, sold his shares in ECM Libra after his interest in the company became a controversial issue all the way up to the top.
The minority shareholders were screaming FOUUULLLLL !!!!! And of course the politicians raised the crescendo up another level in Parlimen.
That resulted in a "loss" for KJ when he sold his direct holdings in ECM Libra but to whom? I'll leave the rest to your speculations.
The #1 "rationalise" salient condition imposed by BNM strictly adhered to Mr Camel himself who individually is the single largest share holder of ECMLibra with 22.81%
Under the Banking and Financial Institutions Act, an individual is not permitted to hold more than 10% interest in a licensed institution, and in the case of a person other than an individual, no more than 20%.
Base on Tan Sri's direct undermining of the Banking & Financial Institution Act, BNM would hv thrown out the IB application if submitted under the name of Tan Sri Azman Hashim.
The questions nobody wants or dare to ask is >>>> When & why did Mr Camel raised his stakes to 22.81% When & where was the SC shareholder's filing?
Moreover, Mr Camel himself knows the rules of the financial * banking game and yet he went directly against the Banking & Financial Instituition ACT ..... knowingly.
Mr Camel can plead naive innocence if he's a fishmonger but Mr Camel is Executive Chairman of Amcorp & AMMB .... any better excuses Tan Sri???
2. As far as the "exemptions" of CEO Kaliular & MD Lim Kian Onn goes, that is a foregone conclusion.
Note : Kaliular sold a small portion of his ECMLibra stakes but retains his majority becoz KJ was the politicians target, not the ular. Around the same time, Kalimullah, the ECM Libra chairman, reduced his 6.75% shareholding to 4.8% because he “was forced to take the step by the unwarranted focus on the company by politicians”.
Mr Lim did nothing throughout except sitting cooly in his MD chair. Lim Kian Onn did NOT sell any of his stakes which until today remains Lim 9.2% vs 4.21% Kaliular.
An investment banking licence is crucial as it enables ECM Libra to enter the money market, accept deposits and widen its scope of services and products. At the moment, most of its revenue is derived from stockbroking activities.
Officially, nothing points to Mr Camel hardwork in ECMLibra except maybe for "holding" unto KJ stakes.
Mr Camel to "sack" Kaliular & Lim? No way bro! Other than being luckily involved in helping Khairy out of a rut, every1 in the corporate circle knows ECMLibra is KJ's brainchild. A projected future showtime in Spore capital mkt.
With Tony Fernandez in the picture .... evry1 in ECMLibra has a ticket to fly.... technically speaking..... hahaha!!!
