No buying n oso no selling since 18 June 2009, I dont think mkt will go all d way up without any correction esp DOW ( it has been up for past 9 days without looking back ) , if u ask me , is it time to jump in now ? well.. if u hv zero balance or holding less than 30% , buy in stages is highly recommended , otherwise, stay a side n hold on 2 yr existing shares.

$ifu, i've sold some of d stocks recently so as to buy 1 lot of CITI 2nite. Hope could catch @ around 2.50-2.60
Most of d KLSE stocks r quite high now, so after some gains i would rather take some profits n invest in CITI which is still staying around 2.50-3.00.
Also sold 1 lot HK Parkson n swap to Genting SP for 3 lots d other day. Total 8 lots @ ave 0.73 Seems like Genting SP is still worth investing.
My plan is 2 reduce holding in KLSE along d rise n divert d gains 2 invest more on CITI if d price still <3.00
So, let us hope 4 big gains 3 yrs fr now!

2 trading , 2 trade fcpo or future , u needs TA 2 deal with it , but as u know, I am very much against TA , 4 me, future trading is like playing big n small with late uncle lim , hence not my cup of tea.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Citigroup Inc (C.N) said on Wednesday it will give the U.S. government a 34 percent equity stake as part of the latest federal bailout of the nation's third-largest bank.
The government is becoming Citigroup's largest shareholder, following the completion of two exchange offers designed to bolster the capital position of the bank, widely considered the most troubled of the nation's biggest lenders.
Investors have agreed to swap about $32.8 billion of preferred securities for common stock, and the government agreed to swap $25 billion, the New York-based bank has said.
Citigroup conducted the offers after heavy credit losses and writedowns prompted a series of bailouts.
The government has injected $45 billion from the Troubled Asset Relief Program, and agreed to share losses on $300.8 billion of troubled assets.
Citigroup has also been overhauling its upper management and its board, including the addition of seven new directors this year, and is trying to shed consumer finance, insurance and toxic assets.
Less than two months ago, the bank raised capital by putting its Smith Barney brokerage into a joint venture controlled by Morgan Stanley (MS.N).
Citigroup has said it may conduct a reverse stock split before June 30, 2010 that would increase the share price, which has hovered near $3 for much of the year.
It has proposed seven possible exchange ratios, ranging from 1-for-2 to 1-for-30. Reverse splits reduce outstanding shares and are often used to boost low share prices.
Stephen Cohen, a Citigroup spokesman, said no decision has been made on whether to conduct a reverse split.
American International Group Inc (AIG.N), a troubled insurer that has also received multiple bailouts, has seen its shares fall 42 percent through Tuesday after a 1-for-20 reverse split at the end of June.
Citigroup shares closed Tuesday at $2.97 on the New York Stock Exchange.

for the valuation for pantech is still reasonable now cos if the eps FY10 is 15cts the PE is around 6.therefore the with the current sector PE around 10,there is still an upside for ths ctr.we can go in somemore if there is any retracement. With huge wide clientele base n there is more room of growing plus the expected Crude oil price to be somewhere around US85 by end of the year,..this ctr is worth looking at now.
for jti,the second announcement will be out soon n it's going to be good.even though the upside is limited,we can play safe to earn some money from ths ctr.what say u,sam?

Sifu, want to know your opinion about Keladi.
Its current PE 9++. latest QE also improved. Since year 2005, this company non-stop paying dividend of minimum 15% each year. its price also very close to her par value now. I bought this counter last month at 0.155. so 0.01125 dividend(after deduct 25% tax) will be inside my pocket end of this month.
I bought this counter base on the following reason:
1) PE<10 as sifu alway stress.
2) Improved QE.
3) Her promissing dividend payout, much better then FD.
4) Not much room for her to drop and she stand a very high change for capital grow.
